Mother-son duo found dead in Rohtak
Police said the villagers spotted the body of Prashant outside the room built in his fields, while his mother was found dead inside the room
: The bodies of a 56-year-old woman and her 26-year-old son were found in a room in his fields in Baliyana village in Rohtak on Friday, police said.
The police also recovered some poisonous material from the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Rajbala and her son Prashant, who had returned from Canada two days ago.
IMT police in-charge Kailash Chand said the villagers spotted the body of Prashant outside the room built in his fields, while his mother was found dead inside the room.
“We have recovered a poisonous bottle from the crime scene. Prashant had recently returned from Canada where he was studying. The exact reasons of death will be ascertained after the post-mortem examination. It is not clear whether it is a suicide or a case of murder. We will register an FIR on the basis of the post-mortem report,” the SHO added.
