Over 1 lakh youths given jobs in Haryana: Khattar

: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said that more than one lakh regular government jobs have been given to youths on the basis of merit and with complete transparency during the BJP rule.
He said that his government has ended the age-old ‘parchi’ and ‘kharchi’ system from government appointments.
The chief minister said that during previous governments, leaders of the ruling parties used to send the list of their dear ones to HSSC and HPSC for unfair selections, said Khattar during his address at an event organised by Kala Shiksha Sahayak Sangh in association with Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh held here today.
The felicitation ceremony was organized to express gratitude to the CM for giving employment opportunities through Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRNL).
The chief minister said that HKRNL was set up to end the economic exploitation of the youth and it was a significant step towards ending the recruitment done through contractual system.
He said that till now, data of more than 90,000 employees has been ported into the nigam.
Khattar said that two days back, appointment letters have been given to 2,075 TGT and PGT teachers through HKRNL.
Accusing the congress of playing with the future of 9,870 JBT teachers by not giving them jobs, he said, “securing their futures, we have given employment to 9,670 teachers and the remaining 200 will also be given the same in the next two-three days,” he said.
He said that for the recruitment of group C and D posts, the process of holding interviews has been completed and provision has been made for the written examination.
Khattar said that complete transparency is being ensured in police recruitment as well.
He said that for the bright future of the youth, arrangements have also been made by the state government to provide skill training to employ them abroad as well. Under this scheme, a target has been set to send 1 lakh youth abroad in a year.
The chief minister said that the strength of vigilance has been increased 7 times to prevent corruption, besides the power of CM flying squad has also increased.
