: Days after farmer unions announced to launch the second leg of the farm agitation, Haryana agriculture minister JP Dalal on Monday said the disgruntled farmer leaders, who faced political defeat in Punjab assembly polls, are talking about launching the farm stir again.

While interacting with reporters in Bhiwani, Dalal said Haryana has faced huge loss of revenue due to last year’s farm stir and the people of Haryana kept brotherhood.

“Few farm union leaders, who lost their security deposit during Punjab assembly polls, want to re-launch the stir to come into limelight again. The Haryana farmers are happy with the government as we are purchasing 13 crops on the minimum support price (MSP),” he added.

The farm union leaders said the Union government has failed to give a legal guarantee on the MSP, withdrawal of the electricity bill, and withdrawal of cases registered against them during the year-long stir.
