Chandigarh adviser takes stock of facilities at government schools

To ensure that the government schools in Chandigarh are ready with good infrastructure before the summer break gets over on June 30, UT adviser Dharam Pal, accompanied by UT education secretary Purva Garg, inspected the schools in Hallomajra, Kishangarh and Mauli Jagran.

During the inspection, the adviser stressed on the need to ensure availability of good school infrastructure with safe drinking water, sports facilities and IT infrastructure. He added that the inspections of government schools will continue in the coming days as well.

The engineering department confirmed that the pending engineering works will be completed before the commencement of classes. UT chief engineer, director school education, and other officials of the engineering and education department were also present.
