The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday said that the expert committee it had set up for delving into discrepancies in the Odia language question paper has submitted its report, based on which the results of the aggrieved students have been revised and sent to their respective schools.

The CBSE set up a dispute redressal mechanism on Monday after students took to social media to raise complaints about errors in the Odia language paper answer key. The board re-evaluated the OMRs of the paper with the correct answer key approved by the expert committee. The result of 28,310 students was revised following the fresh evaluation, the board said.
“Based on the report of the expert committee, the CBSE has evaluated the OMRs of Odia Class 10 paper with the correct answer key as approved by the expert committee. The revised performance of students has been sent to the respective schools for onward information of the students. A total of 28,310 students have benefitted as a result of the revision,” the CBSE said on Tuesday
The board, on Friday, shared the results of Class 10 Term-1 exams with all affiliated schools. The Term-1 results of Class 12 students are awaited.
