Jaipuria Institute of Management: Two-day Ojas ’22 gets underway on Lucknow campus
This year, Ojas’22 is based on the Hogwartz theme derived from the Harry Potter series, depicting a journey to a mystical land that transforms to keep up with a dynamic competitive reality.
The two-day flagship youth carnival of the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, ‘Ojas’22’ began on Friday. Ojas’22 is an inter-college annual cultural and literary fest that showcases budding talents.
This year, Ojas’22 is based on the Hogwartz theme derived from the Harry Potter series, depicting a journey to a mystical land that transforms to keep up with a dynamic competitive reality.
The carnival started with the lighting of the lamp by Kavita Pathak, director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, and Prof Rashmi Chaudhary, associate dean, student affairs.
Day one featured 13 events ranging from music, artistic, literary, and quizzes, namely The Invisible Cloak, The Daily Prophet, The Quidditch, Antarnaad (Nukkad Natak), The Voice of Hogwartz, etc. Also, events like Battle of Bands, and DJ Night with DJ Ravator were in place to jazz up the evening.
Participation assisted learners to foster managerial skills, problem-solving skills, team-building skills, and playfully abiding by the rules.
The theme of Nukkad Natak (Antarnaad) this year was ‘Elimination of violence against women at the workplace’.
“Violence against women and girls is a violation of human rights, and the immediate and long-term physical, sexual, and psychological consequences of violence against women and girls are devastating. Violence negatively affects women’s general wellbeing and prevents them from participating fully in society. To stop this, let us all come together and take the necessary steps,” said Laleshwar Dubey, Jaipuria Lucknow cultural committee student.
