People must get smooth water supply amid heat: CM Yogi

Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has asked all district magistrates to ensure smooth water supply keeping in view the scorching heat. As per a government press release, Yogi said there should be no problem to the people in getting smooth water supply.

He said the drinking water should be supplied in accordance with the roaster. He said all the hand pumps should remain functional and rural piped water supply schemes should be made operational.

Yogi further said senior officers should make spot visits to see water supply situation. He said non-government organisations (NGOs) should associate themselves with the government’s efforts to ensure smooth water supply.

He said making drinking water available at “pyau” was a good work. He said water should also made available at public places for cows and birds etc. The CM said there should be sheds for cows. He said feed should be placed along with water for the birds.
