Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has urged MPs and MLAs to make the best use of social media platforms to express their views with a positive attitude on the central and the state governments’ public welfare schemes, industrial policies and job-oriented programmes.

“In this age of technological revolution, the social media has emerged as an excellent tool for dialogue and all MPs and MLAs should use this platform to air their views on various scheme being run by the central and the state governments for the welfare of people,” he said while holding a meeting with MPs and MLAs of Aligarh division comprising Aligarh, Etah, Kasganj and Hathras districts to review progress of government schemes in their regions.
He told them to keep on inspecting execution of government schemes in their areas to ensure quality of work because doing so, he added, was also necessary to build their image in their constituencies.

He said all districts under the Aligarh division should organise local investors’ summits as already done by some districts. “Local people’s representatives should lead such summits,” he said.
The CM said a medical college each would soon be set up in Kasganj and Hathras on public private partnership (PPP) basis and a time-bound programme was being implemented for the development of ‘Soron Ji Shukar’ area as a religious tourist place in Kasganj.
