Media to be facilitated in covering HC events: Allahabad HCBA

The media’s role was lauded in highlighting important judgements of the high court, which in turn help litigants across the state

Media will be provided all facilities to cover events organised by the Bar Association and other functions on the high court premises, said Ashok Singh, president of Allahabad High Court Bar Association (HCBA) in an interaction organised between office-bearers of the Bar and newspersons in the committee hall of HCBA on Thursday.

On this occasion, Nitin Sharma, secretary, HCBA, also promised to remove all difficulties being faced by newsmen while covering events on the high court premises.

Sarvesh Dubey, joint secretary, administration, also lauded the role played by the media in highlighting important judgements of the high court, which in turn help litigants across the state.

While conducting the programme, Amarendu Singh, joint secretary, press, said that such interactions help understand each other’s difficulties, hence, it will be organised more often in the future.

All office-bearers of the HCBA and newspersons belonging to print and electronic media were present at this programme.
