Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said his regime will continue to deal firmly with those who challenge the law, constitution and pride of the nation.

He also said even those who stood in support of riots in the past now asserted that they felt more safe under the present regime in Uttar Pradesh.
The chief minister was addressing the closing session of the three-day Bhartiya Janata Yuva Mocha (BJYM) camp in Agra.
He flagged off an awareness rally for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and then inspected the progress of Agra Metro Rail project before reaching the venue of the BJYM meeting.
“Earlier, there used to be riots, but now even those (who stood) in support of riots claim that they are safe in the present regime in Uttar Pradesh. We will continue going tough on those challenging law and order, constitution and the pride of nation. Those who respect law and order, the constitution and the pride of nation will have no problem in our regime,” he said.
“We are heading towards becoming the second biggest economy in India and have successfully provided free ration, electricity to the needy and fought Covid with determination,” he said.
“Better job opportunities are being created. Rozgar card will be introduced to link those without work to schemes creating employment. U.P. will manufacture defence equipment through defence corridors. With investment, more jobs will be created in the state,” he said.
“Construction of grand Ram temple was started after a 500-year struggle. The Kashi Vishwanath Corridor has come up in Varanasi. Article 370 was abrogated in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said. “It is the youth who will make India a Vishwa Guru. They should move ahead with a positive mindset while getting connected to government schemes and let others utilise them. We now have Digital India, Start Ups, One District One Product schemes, besides others for the youth,” he said.
Earlier, the chief minister digitally unveiled the first look of Agra Metro train on Monday.
The CM also planted a tree inside Agra Metro Rail Depot.
Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation managing director Sushil Kumar said, “The metro coaches are being manufactured in Savli, Gujarat. Eighty-seven coaches will be delivered to the Agra Metro Rail Project.”
Kumar added that the trains have been designed for speeds up to 90kmph.
