Pregnant women living in Bihar’s flood relief camps will get financial assistance of ₹10,000 if they gave birth to a son and ₹15,000 in case of a daughter.

Chief minister Nitish Kumar made an announcement in this regard on Wednesday.

Kumar said disaster victims have the first right on the state government’s treasury.
