PGI employees have for long been demanding cadre restructuring and constitution of a committee for promotions, but the PGI administration has been ignoring the demands, said confederation members.
President of employees’ confederation Jitendra Yadav and general secretary Dharmesh Kumar said, “We had written to the PGI administration to take a decision on our demands, but they have not replied. The employees are concerned over this attitude. If the demands are not met before October 10, employees may go on indefinite strike.”
Meanwhile, PGI Nursing Association president Seem Shukla also served a notice to the PGI administration, informing it about the nurses’ decision to stage a dharna in support of their demand of cadre restructuring.
