The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) Pune Division has suffered a revenue loss of around ₹40 lakh after a gas tanker carrying highly flammable propylene gas overturned near the Adoshi tunnel on the Pune‑Mumbai Expressway on February 3 causing a major traffic disruption for over 30 hours, officials said on Friday.

Traffic disruption on the expressway had left many to cancel scheduled trips, with hundreds of passengers stranded on the busy stretch.
Arun Siya, divisional controller, MSRTC Pune Division, said, “All our Mumbai-bound bus services scheduled for Wednesday were cancelled after the accident. Bus services resumed on the expressway after 1 pm on Thursday.”
