Murlidhar Mohol attends Parliament session on wheelchair

Amid the introduction of several bills, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) issued a whip, asking all Members of Parliament (MPs) from both houses to remain present for the Parliamentary session.

Earlier, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis visited Mohol’s residence on Thursday to inquire about his health.

Mohol said last month, “Twenty-nine years ago, I suffered an injury while wrestling in Kolhapur. Because of that injury, I eventually had to give up wrestling. I ignored it for many years, but the pain has gradually increased. Finally, the doctors told me that surgery was the only option left. Hence, I have to take at least a month’s rest.”
