According to police officials, the accused was aware that the victims mother works at a private hospital and the victim is home alone for a few hours. The accused raped the victim when she was alone. The incident occurred from October 2022 till date.

During investigation police found that the victim is pregnant.

According to police, the accused was threatened her with dire consequences if she spoke out.

Police officials from Shirgaon police station said,”As per the complaint filed by the victim we have registered a case under relevant sections and arrested accused from his home and further investigation is underway.’’

A case has been registered under sections 376 of IPC and relevant sections of POCSO Act.
