RTO’s Moshi automatic testing centre to begin operations from March 1

The 11,000 sq ft facility at Moshi was completed in October 2025 after delays related to the contractor and lack of an access road

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Regional Transport Office’s (RTO) automatic testing centre (ATC) set up at 10 acres in Moshi will be operational from March 1. The facility will complete vehicle fitness tests in six minutes, said officials on Tuesday.

From March 1, vehicle owners must register on https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/AFMS/ for mandatory testing at the Moshi centre. The facility can test up to 300 vehicles daily.
