“Missing the World Cup was a big setback as playing in the mega event is the biggest dream of any cricketer. I was disappointed but I told myself that I had to return with a good showing in the IPL,” he said. “The focus was just to play good cricket. My target was to bowl good line and length.”

Praveen said he had recovered from the injury and was looking forward to putting up a good show in the West Indies. “Wickets in the West Indies are suitable to my bowling and I am confident of a good show there,” said Praveen. “IPL proved to be a good platform for me to prove my match-fitness and I am very much satisfied with my performance so far.”
