Shivnarine Chanderpaul proved key to the West Indies' innings as he batted through the third morning of the second Test against Australia at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain on Tuesday to reach lunch on 45 not out.
Chanderpaul's resilience helped the hosts put on 132 for four in response to Australia's first innings total of 311.
Victory for Australia will give them the series, after they won the first Test in Barbados.
