Oh, my goodness! Horrible cricket all around and Sophie Ecclestone might have just dropped the catch that could have turned the game on its head. A full toss from Lauren Bell, Ash Gardner miscues it completely and just lobs it to the right of mid off. Ecclestone gets across and pouches the ball but takes a tumble and spills it out as the batters pick up a single. It was a horrible ball, and an even worse shot. And then, call it unlucky might be, but a ridiculous mess of a simple catch, albeit replays show that Ecclestone's elbow hit the ground after the catch was taken and hence, the ball spilled out

OUT! CAUGHT! Maia Bouchier with a stellar catch and a struggling Tahlia McGrath has to walk back after making just 2 runs. Sophie Ecclestone shortens the length this time, bowling it around off and extracting some extra bounce as well. McGrath backs away but fails to keep the cut shot down, hitting it to the right of point where Bouchier dives across and takes a fine catch with both hands.

Alyssa Healy is a bit too eager to step out and Charlie Dean holds the ball back just enough to see her coming. Fires it in quick and full and Healy goes through with the lofted drive but ends up yorking herself. The ball slides through to crash into the off stump and a disappointed Healy walks back for 70(78).
