Court upholds Dhoni’s plea
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won a case against Kolkata-based company Gameplan Sports Pvt. Ltd. The Jharkhand High Court upheld the complaint lodged by Dhoni against the company, which acted as his former manager-cum-agent.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won a case against Kolkata-based company Gameplan Sports Pvt. Ltd. The Jharkhand High Court upheld the complaint lodged by Dhoni against the company, which acted as his former manager-cum-agent.
It ruled that a case of criminal breach of trust arose prima facie against the company for allegedly cheating Dhoni of over R 10 crore and needs to be investigated thoroughly.
The bench of Justice D.G.R. Patnaik dismissed the petition filed by the company’s directors.
