“I think they were bowling well throughout the game but in the end Powell gave us a chance, I thought that no-ball could have been precious for us but it is not in my control. Yes, disappointed but can't do much about it. Everyone was frustrated (in the dugout) that it was not even close, everyone in the ground saw that, I think the third umpire should have interfered and said it was a no-ball. Obviously it wasn't right (sending Amre onto the field) but what happened with us is also not right, it happened in the heat of the moment. It was the fault from both sides and it is disappointing as we have seen some good umpiring in the tournament. It is disappointing to go so close especially when the other team has scored 200+. McCoy held his nerve in the last three balls to concede runs runs before ending the over with the wicket of Powell. 

McCoy is livid. DC camp shout for a no ball after Powell smashes the third ball for a six. Rishabh Pant is angry and Pravin Amre runs into the ground. 

Obed McCoy was given the task to defend 36 in the final over. Powell kicked off with a 101-metre six high over long on. McCoy goes wide and Powell muscled it over point for a six. Wankhede in euphoria already.

Powell thumped the fourth one over deep mid-wicket for a six and then launched the final ball over long-on for a maximum. Delhi now need 36 off 12. It's doable, says the commentator.

Against the tossed-up delivery from Chahal, Lalit got down on one knee to slog it over mid-wicket for a 72-metre six. 10 runs came off the over.

DC 172/6 in 17 overs

Thakur hit Boult fir a six , but was run out in the next ball in the 16th over. Delhi are falling apart in the run chase. They have now lost their sixth wicket with the equation standing 66 runs in 27 balls.

Delhi need 74 runs from 30 balls now with a required rate of over 14. But it's T20 and anything can happen. There is Rovman Powell still waiting. 

He hit Ashwin for two back-to-back fours in the 14th over. He then smashed Chahal for a six over deep backward square leg in the next over

It was a nice flighted leg-break delivery. Axar kneeled to slog sweep it, failed to connect and the ball rattled against the stumps. Delhi lost their fifth wicket.

DC 127/5 in 13 overs

Pant look to swivel it over short fine, but got a leading edge against the shorter one from Krishna. It gets the height and Chahal's present in the deep to collect it, but fails to grab it. But Padikkal does a delivery later to end Pant's stay at the crease. 

Pant welcomed Parag with a huge six in the 11th over. He shimmied down the track against the full-toss ball and dispatched it over mid-wicket for a six. In the fourth ball, he dished out the famous one-handed six as he clobbered the fuller one over long-on. He kept punishing him as hit a four towards the same area. 22 runs came off the over. 

DC 121/3 in 11 overs

The veteran ends the fifty-run partnership with the wicket of Shaw as he is dismissed for 37. 

DC 99/3 in 10 overs

Shaw ended the boundary streak wuth a four through mid-wicket off a length ball. He then smashed a six against the slower one that followed. McCoy then erred with five wides in the next ball, got hit for a boundary off a no ball and then bowled two back-to-back wides before Pant hit the fourth ball of the over with a four tucked away towards fine leg. McCoy had a shot at redemption, with Pant going for the big one and Hetmyer speeding down towards long-on, but the fielder misjudged it and it ended as a boundary. 26 runs came off the over.

DC 95/2 in 9 overs

It has been 15 balls without a boundary for Delhi as Ashwin concedes nine runs in his second over. 

DC 69/2 in 8 overs

Just five singles came off the over from Chahal, who picked up a hat-trick in the previous game and has 17 wickets this season. 

DC 60/2 in 7 overs

He did not want Ashwin to get comfortable and looked to take on the offie early one and in the process succumbed. He miscued the sweep and Krishna grabbed it comfortably at square leg.

DC 48/2 in 5.1 overs

Warner hammered him for back-to-back fours before Krishna removed him in the third ball. It was a big deflection, but Warner waited there, perplexed. He walked back for 28 off 14. Shaw ended the over with a boundary.

DC 48/1 in 5 overs

Obed McCoy, left-arm fast medium, is introduced early on and Shaw hits a four in the second ball through long on. Warner cut the penultimate one, well outside off, over short third man for a boundary. Parag made an effort to stop it but failed. 

DC 35/0 in 4 overs

Boult erred in the third ball and Warner pounced on it with a four whipped away through square leg. He finished the over with a six over third man fence. 

DC 25/0 in 3 overs

He played the lofted drive against Krishna in the first ball to get a boundary. Six runs came off the over. 

DC 14/0 in 2 overs

In the first ball, he punches it through mid-wicket for a four and then smashed the fuller on the off stump past the bowler for a boundary. 

DC 8/0 in 1 over

David Warner and Prithvi Shaw make their way out to the middle. Trent Boult to begin the proceedings for Rajasthan. 223 is the target. 

“Wankhede is always one of those wickets, as a batsmen if you are set you can go after the bowling. Initially Jos was going well and I was just trying to give him strike as much as possible, once we got into that rhythm we were just feeding off each other. We both knew the bowlers and areas we can target, we were looking to do that and waited for the opportunities. It's a treat to watch him (Jos Buttler) bat and I hope he continues to score a lot of runs for us. I felt 180-190 is par and with the kind of bowling line-up we have, we should be able to defend that. I can't compete with him right now (six hitting off Buttler) , he is just too good at the moment.”
