The venues and the dates for these matches, however, have yet to be finalised as the BCCI announced a packed itinerary for the period spanning June to April 2009.

India, currently hosting South Africa in a three-Test series, will play a tri-series in Bangladesh in June, also involving Pakistan.

This follows the inaugural edition of the 44-day, multi-million dollar Indian Premier League Twenty20 tournament to be played in India from April 18.

India will then travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup one-day competition from June 24 before touring Sri Lanka for three Tests and five ODIs from July 15 to Aug. 30.

After the Champions Trophy in Pakistan from Sept. 8-28, India will host Australia for four tests in Bangalore, Mohali, New Delhi and Nagpur from Oct 9 to Nov 10 before England's visit.

India will begin the New Year with a tour Pakistan for three tests and five ODIs from Jan. 4 to Feb 20 before travelling to New Zealand for three Tests and five ODIs from Feb 26 to April 15.
