Former Australia batsman Bill Brown dies

The former Australia opening batsman has died at the age of 95. He played on the famous "Invincibles" tour of England in 1948 alongside the great Donald Bradman.

Former Australia opening batsman Bill Brown has died at the age of 95, Australian Associated Press reported.

Brown, Australia's oldest surviving Test cricketer, played on the famous "Invincibles" tour of England in 1948 alongside the great Donald Bradman.

Brown captained Australia in their first Test against New Zealand in 1946.

He played 22 Tests, scoring 1,592 runs at an average of 46.82.
