Lanky right-arm pacer Peter George might make his debut should Doug Bollinger fail to prove his 'mental and physical fitness, according to Australia coach Tim Nielsen. Australia sweated it out for almost three hours and also had the opportunity to take their first look at the strip.
Bollinger and Michael Hussey though are the focus of attention.
“They both are a little behind in terms of time but that is something we were aware of. The players were also told both mental and physical fitness will play a part in their inclusion. We have to make the right decision,” Nielsen said.
The coach is most likely to have another session with them on the eve of the match to make a final decision. “What I have to ascertain in case of Bollinger is whether he will be able to handle long spells,” Nielsen said. Bollinger had a short bowling session at the nets and then worked with team physio for the most part of the session.
