A day after Ricky Ponting blamed the Champions League for hindering their preparations for the ODI series against India, Adam Gilchrist, the former Australia opener, endorsed his views.
Also, he criticized the scheduling of the seven-match ODIs, saying it served only commercial interests.
“I don't think anyone feels that that's an appropriate number of games . In a commercial sense it obviously works but even fans are voicing their disapproval about it,” he said.
