The Indian U-19 cricket team defeated Papua New Guinea (PNG) by 10 wickets in their ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup group stage game at Bay Oval on Tuesday. Chasing a modest target of 65, Prithvi Shaw’s half century was enough to clinch the game. Earlier, Anukul Roy took five wickets while Shivam Mavi scalped two as India bowled out PNG for 64 runs 21.5 overs. The Prithvi Shaw-led side opened their World Cup campaign with a convincing win over the Australian U-19 cricket team.
