India Maharajas vs World Giants Highlights: Srivastava, Yusuf fifties drive INM to comfortable six-wicket win over WGS

Short and wide from Sreesanth and Ramdin hits it off the backfoot over Harbhajan at backward point. He follows it up with two more boundaries to complete a hat-trick of fours.

Sreesanth goes for a yorker again but Ramdin hits it straight down the ground over the bowler's head. What an over for World Giants! 19 runs off it.

WICKET! A leg-cutter from Pankaj Singh and he gets Taibu. It would have been umpire's call even if World Giants went for a review. Taibu falls for 7 (7) as the Giants lose their fifth wicket. Two more overs to go…

WGS 148-5 after 18 overs

Dinda pulls up before the last two balls and Kaif comes in to complete the over. Perera punishes the part-timer with a six and tries to go for another one... and hands it to Awana, who takes a brilliant diving catch. Kaif is on cloud nine!

Ramdin ups the rate with a massive six versus Dinda, who bowls a pitched-up delivery. Perera also joins the act to whack it for half a dozen. 2 sixes (both to mid-wicket) off 4 deliveries against Dinda.

Yusuf Pathan slows it down against Perera but the batter under-edges it through the legs. No chance for Parthiv Patel behind the stumps as the ball races away to the fence. Last five overs to go!

Harbhajan gives away just 3 singles from his fourth to return 1-21. Ashok Dinda comes in from the other end.

The brakes have been applied by Maharajas but Giants will look to get as many runs as possible from the lasst six overs.

Ashok Dinda into the attack and he concedes just 3 singles. India Maharajas have done a superb job to halt the run-flow after O'Brien's exit.

OUT! Harbhajan gets opposition skipper Kallis, who goes for a sweep down the leg side but the ball crashes onto the stumps. World Giants lose their third wicket.

WGS 93-3 after 11 overs

Gone!!! Kevin O'Brien chips it to Harbhajan at cover. He falls to Joginder Sharma after the time-out as World Giants lose their second wicket. O'Brien perishes for 52 off 31 balls. Denesh Ramdin comes in to join skipper Jacques Kallis, who is batting on 10.

WGS 87-2 after 10 overs

Brilliant! O'Brien times it perfectly to hit Joginder towards deep mid-wicket. The medium pace of Joginder doesn't deter the Irish batter, who produces another four after hitting it to sweeper cover.

O'Brien gets to his fifty in style with a four square of the wicket. Joginder bowls the last ball short and wide, and the batter reaches 50 in just 29 balls.

WGS 79-1 after 8 overs

Harbhajan Singh comes into the attack after the first six overs and concedes just six. Joginder Sharma is up next from the other end.

There's no stopping Kevin O'Brien, who slams consecutive boundaries against Pankaj Singh. He hits one straight down the ground and the next one through cover and long-off. 13 runs off Singh's over which had Masakadza departing for 18 off 15.

Gone!!! Masakadza tries to power it through the off side and he gets caught by Srivastava. Pankaj Singh gets the first wicket as Masakadza falls after putting up 50-run opening stand with O'Brien.

Consecutive boundaries for Masakadza, who first finds the gap on the off and then hits it square. O'Brien finishes the Sreesanth over with a lusty hit to long-on. Change of pace from Sreesanth but the Irishman whacks it straight down the ground.

Pankaj Singh into the attack and he gets hit for a four. Short-length delivery from the lanky Indian pacer and O'Brien has no problems in hitting it towards mid-off.

Kevin O'Brien produces two boundaries, both towards square leg. A couple of wides from Irfan make it a 13-run over. Good start from the World Giants.

Another one! Masakadza joins the fun to hit it towards backward square leg. Expensive from Sreesanth, who concedes 9 in his first over.

Former India speedster S Sreesanth, who turned 39 earlier this year, will also take part in the special exhibition game. He will play for LNJ Bhilwara Kings in the league.

"Age is just a number for me. It feels good to be a part of the Legends League. Giving such opportunities to players like us is a commendable effort made by Legends League Cricket. It is great to be back in the circle. It feels like Kolkata's Eden Garden was waiting for us to come back," said the World Cup-winning India bowler.

“I am really excited to be part of the league and be back in the game; not just that, I am grateful that we have such a wonderful team here”

"We have come together after a long time. I think some cricketers will have opportunities to get together and remember us. We will try to put on a good show and feel the heat of our comeback. We will try to perform together and that I feel is more important than anything else," said Kiwi great Daniel Vettori about his excitement for the tournament.
