IND U19 vs ENG U19 Highlights, 3rd ODI: RS Ambrish and Kanishk Chauhan stitched together a 50-plus partnership to take India to a comfortable 4-wicket win over England Colts. India lost more than half their side inside 200 as Harvansh Pangalia fell for 11 runs, but Vaibhav Suryavanshi's 86 off 31 balls gave India enough ground to cover in their chase of 269.

Suryavanshi played yet another knock worth remembering before he was out caught in the deep. It was that man, Suryavanshi, again, who took just 20 balls to get to his fifty and continued to go berserk, smoking nine sixes and six boundaries during his insane knock. But just when the 100 was in sight, Suryavanshi fell, out caught in the deep. Still, he went out after scoring the second-fastest 50 by an Indian Under-19 batter. Suryavanshi's wicket was followed by Chavda's exit to leave India 3 down.

India lost their first wicket early, that of their stand-in captain Abhigyan Kundu. However, just 13 balls into the innings, Suryavanshi hammered two boundaries to signal his intent. The Indian Under-19 team needs 269 to win and take a 2-1 lead after Thomas Rew's unbeaten 76 lifted England to 268/6.

For England, Thomas Rew has unleashed a barrage of fours and sixes, completing a brilliant fifty and countering Kanishk Chauhan's impressive three-wicket haul. Chauhan picked up his third when Joseph Moores perished for a duck. He is weaving magic for India, picking up three very important wickets. First, he clean bowled Ben Mayes and in his next over, sent Rocky Flintoff packing. This was after Ben Dawkins was clean bowled by Naman Pushpak in the second over after the drinks interval. Dawkins went, but not before playing a brilliant innings of 62 from 61 balls. Shortly after, Kanishk did his thing.

India's decision to bowl spin from both ends paid off with Vivaan Malhotra getting Isaac Mohammed out LBW for 41. Earlier, England openers BJ Dawkins and Mohammed had gotten off to a brisk start, unleashing a flurry of boundaries against Henil Patel and Deepesh Devendran. The introduction of Chauhan and Ambrish didn't yield any success either as England continued to plunder runs.

The much-awaited match, reduced to 40-overs per side, got underway, but not before a two-hour long delay. The rain stopped after an hour of continuous downpour, or at least, relented enough for the groundstaff to have a look at the conditions. Some portion of the covered area was being carefully looked after, possibly to sense if the rain did any damage to the pitch. Rain threw a spanner in the works in Northampton and delayed the start of the match.
