Former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev feels Sachin Tendulkar is the best person to decide when he would like to retire from inetrnational cricket.

"A great player like Sachin knows when he should retire and it is not for me to comment about. The memory of great players lives for a long long time. For instance Sunil Gawaskar is still remembered for his great achievements," Kapil said in Agra.

Quizzed about other issues confronting Indian cricket, Kapil said the absence of players like Rahul Dravid and V V S Laxman would be felt for a long time, as no alternative to the two had been found yet.

However, he kept mum when asked about his opinion on the IPL.
