Bangladesh were 374/4 at stumps on Day 1 of the first Test against Sri Lanka in Chittagong. After opting to bat, Tamim Iqbal and Imraul Kayes got Bangladesh off to a solid start before Dilruwan Perera got rid of Tamim for 52. Lakshan Sandakan then trapped Kayes leg-before at the stroke of lunch, ending the left-handed batsman’s 75-ball stay. Mominul Haque and former captain Mushfiqur Rahim put on a 236-run partnership with the former scoring his fifth Test ton and his first in more than three years.
