Mumbai Indians predicted XI against SRH: Yuvraj Singh could return, change in bowling attack expected
It has been a strange season for Mumbai Indians - they win matches convincingly and then concede the next match just as easily. Although, they are fairly comfortable on the points table - a win should see them sail through to the playoffs, they should ensure that they are not forced to scrape through which could have a massive bearing on the momentum come the knockouts.
As far as the playing XI is concerned, there could be few tweaks made. Evin Lewis has not looked himself and Barinder Sran was very expensive in his first outing. Mumbai could opt for Beuran Hendricks and then replace Lewis with Yuvraj Singh, who has been cooling his heels for quite a while now.
Bumrah and Malinga have been the bank for Mumbai at the death, and despite an off game in the previous outing, they have picked up 20 wickets with an economy of 9.2 in overs 16 to 20.
“We (the team) are not thinking of playoffs or anything. We are just focusing on next two games, which are league games, and we just want to do well in those two games,” Krunal Pandya said before the match.
