Sunrisers Hyderabad will travel to Mumbai without David Warner and this makes things tricky for them. The Australian has left the squad and for Kane Williamson and team, they have to not only find his replacement but also ensure that they do not slip up early in the piece.

SRH are ranked fourth on the points table and are only a couple of points adrift Mumbai Indians and now, when the slugfest to get into the final four will only thicken, no off days are expected.

It is not going to be easy for SRH - as only two of their batsmen - Jonny Bairstow and David Warner - feature in the top-20 run-getters of the season. Manish Pandey has shown promising signs and he now has to play the role of a senior player in the side. Captain Kane has to step up and fill the void left by David Warner and the bowlers have to be more than just support cast to Rashid Khan.

“They (Warner and Bairstow) have been world class throughout the whole campaign, have put us in really strong positions. There is a lot of work to do and it should be a collective effort to fill in someone’s boots directly,” captain Kane Williamson said before the match.

They can well try Martin Guptill at the top of the order and if he gets going, he could well match the impact of Warner. SRH would ideally want to win both their remaining fixtures, but they have some breathing space because of their superior NRR, which means it is not yet a point of no return for them, but they would want to seal the deal in Mumbai.

Here is SRH’s predicted XI for the match against Mumbai Indians:

Martin Guptill, Wriddhiman Saha(w), Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson(c), Vijay Shankar, Mohammad Nabi, Abhishek Sharma, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Sandeep Sharma
