Ranji Trophy Final Highlights Mumbai vs MP: Madhya Pradesh produced an impressive fightback against Mumbai on Day 1 of the Ranji Trophy finals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Despite a poor opening session, the team restricted Mumbai to 248/5 at the close of play. Sarfaraz Khan (40 off 125) and Shams Mulani (12 off 43) will resume the action on Day 2. Earlier in the day, Mumbai won the toss and opted to bat first. Skipper Prithvi Shaw along with Yashasvi Jaiswal dictated the show in the opening session, which saw Mumbai score 105 runs for the loss of one wicket. Shaw fell short of his half-century by three runs after he was cleaned up by Anubhav Agarwal. MP, however, produced an improved show in the second session forcing Mumbai to go into the interval with 201-4 on the board. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the big wicket of the afternoon session, the opener was dismissed on 78 (163) by Anubhav.
