Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has donated his bat for former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi’s charity foundation. Afridi took to Twitter to thank Kohli for his contribution on Tuesday evening, and the Indian cricket superstar was quick to respond.

Virat Kohli, who is in Sri Lanka currently leading the Indian team in their ongoing three-match Test series, quickly sent his best wishes to the former Pakistan all-rounder.

The Indian team had presented a Virat Kohli shirt, signed by all the players, to Shahid Afridi when he retired from the international cricket last April.

The shirt, which fetched Rs 3 lakhs at an auction in London, had a message from the Team India captain, saying, “To Shahid Bhai, best wishes, always a pleasure playing against you.”
