CISCE result: With 99.25%, Doon girl second in country

Tamanna Dahiya of Welham Girls’ in Dehradun stood second in the country in ISC class 12 result announced by the CISCE on Monday. Dahiya scored 99.25%.

Dahiya has broken the state record of St. Joseph’s Academy’s Bhuvanya Vijay, who got 99% marks in 2013.
Following her in the state are Pragun Aggarwal and Harshit Bansal - both of The Doon School - with 98.75%.
Abhiti Mishra of St. Joseph’s Academy and Abhinn Jakhmola and Shivansh Gahlot of Brightlands School bagged 98.50% each.
While Jaspreet Kaur of Ann Mary School scored 98.5% and topped the school. Panya Jain and Saumya Pande of the same school scored 97.0% and 96.75% marks, respectively.
According to the CISCE’s website, 80,880 candidates appeared for the Class 12 and 1,83,387 for the Class 10 examinations.
In ICSE class 10 results, Bhavya Madan and Ishanvi Mohan both of Brightlands School and Akanksha Malawa of Touchwood School scored 98.2% each – the highest in the state.
Pranav Goyal of The Doon School, Aryamaan Mihir Seth and Suhana Baliyar Singh both of Brightlands School scored 98%. Aryamaan is son of Deepam Seth, who is inspector general of police (law and order).
Ambika Batra and Yashasvi Bhatt of Ann Mary School scored 97.6% each. Kritika Piplani of the same school scored 96.8% while Nikita Singh and Sonal Bhatia scored 96.4% each.
Harshit Pant of St. Joseph’s Academy scored 97.6%. Vdansh Nigam of Aryan School scored 97%. Affan Zafar of Carman Day and Residential School scored 94.2%. Soumyashree of St. Thomas College bagged 96.4%, followed by Vanish Sharma with 96% and Ananya Yadav with 95%.
