NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation official, who is a manager, for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a businessman. “A case was registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act on allegations that the manager, business project-I, DMRC, was demanding a bribe of Rs 20, 000 from a businessman for the release of allotment letters for two shops at Badarpur metro station,” said a CBI spokesperson.
