NEW DELHI: If summer comes, can mango festivals be far behind?

The lovers of the king of fruits will get a chance to taste West Bengal’s delicious mangoes till the end of this month. Under directions from West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, a special “Mango Mela” has started at Handloom Haat, Janpath. More than 20 varieties of mangoes are available for testing as well as buying including the famous Himsagar and Laxmanbhog.

Along with the mango mela, the state government has also organized sale of handicraft and handloom products. Every evening, different folk dance and music are also been arranged to entertain the guests.

The festival will continue till June 30.
