Linda Lein, 20, went missing while she was on her way back from an interview at a private company in Hauz Khas. She had come to Delhi from Manipur.

A similar incident was reported in Timarpur. Neetu Tamang (23), from Darjeeling, who was working as a maid in the area went missing while she was on her way to her sister’s house in Munirka.

Neetu worked in the Tibetan Colony. On Sunday, when she didn’t reach her sister’s house on time, her sister informed her employer, who informed the police. Neetu had quit her job and had decided to go to Darjeeling. Neetu’s employer alleged that she had a Northeastern boyfriend who regularly visited her.
