Delhi Police have arrested 21 car-borne youth for creating unruly scenes in a north-east locality in the Capital by shouting slogans in favour of certain candidates for MCD elections.

All the accused, hailing from neighbouring city of Faridabad in Haryana, were found roaming around in three cars in Wazirabad area in the Capital, police said.
Police, on getting complaints from locals of the area that youth were creating trouble by shouting indecent slogans, chased and apprehended them.
On interrogation, they accepted that they had come to help some contestants of MCD polls which is to be held on April five. An FIR under various sections including 151 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code has been lodged against them.
