21-year-old maid raped by 19-year-old domestic help

A 21-year-old domestic help was raped by another domestic help in Saket area of south Delhi. HT reports.

A 21-year-old domestic help was raped by another domestic help in Saket area of south Delhi.

Police say, the victim and the accused were working in two houses in the same building. The accused, Mukesh Kumar (19), is a native of Madhubani in Bihar. He has been arrested. The 21-year-old victim is from Assam.

“The incident took place on Wednesday when the victim went to take a bath in a common bathroom of the three-storey building where she worked. She works in a house on the ground floor while the accused worked in the third floor of M-93 building in Saket,” said a police officer.

“When she came out, Kumar pounced on her and forcibly dragged her into his room on the third floor and raped her,” the officer added. The occupants of the building called the police and the accused was arrested immediately. The medical examination of the girl confirmed rape.
