Though the district police initially feigned ignorance about the incident and refused to divulge details claiming it was a ‘minor’ accident, the victims told Hindustan Times that it occurred at 8 am on the Mansingh Road crossing and they suffered soft tissue injuries.

“My husband and I were en route the Lodhi Colony to drop our children to school when a speeding WagonR car hit us from behind,”said Renu, one of the victims.
