75-year-old man killed, 8 injured in accidents

A 75-year-old retired railway sub-inspector was killed and eight others were injured in two separate road accidents, involving DTC buses, reported in outer Delhi in the last 24 hours.

A 75-year-old retired railway sub-inspector was killed and eight others were injured in two separate road accidents, involving DTC buses, reported in outer Delhi in the last 24 hours.

The first accident took place in Alipur area in which the retired railway officer lost his life after being hit by a speeding DTC bus. The second one took place in Bawana area where a DTC low-floor bus had a head-on collision with a Haryana roadways bus.

Eight passengers from both the buses, including the driver, suffered minor injuries in the accident.
