A police spokesman said four assailants came on two motorcycles armed with pistols to rob Central Bank in Kalkaji’s Krishna Market around 1 p.m.

According to the police, the bravery of 75-year old M.K. Kapoor, who took on the robbers, helped thwart the robbers.

A few hours later, the robbers came back for one of their bikes. Three people, including two policemen, were injured in the gun-battle that followed.
