Titled Etiquettes and Decorum: The oil that greases the machine of our daily lives — this daylong training has been scheduled and conducted by the directorate of training, Delhi government. It will be provided to all officials who fall under group B and C.
“Officers like superintendents, administrators, assistant directors of some departments of the corporation, inspectors, administrative staff, and assistant engineers are eligible for this training,” a source in the south corporation said.
Mukesh Yadav, director, press and information, South Delhi Municipal Corporation, said, “In a bid to provide best services to the citizens, this training is being conducted. Hopefully grievances of residents will be addressed more effectively after this.”The north and east corporations, too, will train their officers on how to deal with residents
According to leader of the House in north corporation, Mahinder Nagpal, this initiative is required because the corporation employees have direct interaction with the people.
“These courses help them stay on the right track and provide civic amenities to people with a smile on their face,” said Nagpal.
