A traditional welcome for Li Keqiang

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang was welcomed to the Capital in a traditional Indian way, complete with rose petals lining the red carpet at the entrance of the hotel Taj Palace in the city, where he is staying at the grand presidential suite.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang was welcomed to the Capital in a traditional Indian way, complete with rose petals lining the red carpet at the entrance of the hotel Taj Palace in the city, where he is staying at the grand presidential suite.

The premier was also greeted with a welcome letter in Mandarin, to make him feel at-home. On the culinary side, while champagne was placed in the suite for Keqiang to unwind after his travel, arrangements for the Chinese Embassy staff to prepare tailored meals in the hotel studio kitchen, were also made.
