"The issue of non-payment of funds to Bihar government will be raised by our member Shahnawaz Hussain in the Lok Sabha tomorrow as we did it in Rajya Sabha today," party leader Sushma Swaraj told reporters in New Delhi.

The decision to raise the issue in both the Houses was taken at a meeting of the floor leaders of NDA this morning.

"JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav raised the issue in the meeting. The NDA would take up (the issue) of discrimination of NDA-ruled states by UPA," Swaraj said.

"We wish to ask the government why it has not implemented the recommendations of the central team to give Rs 14,808 crore as central assistance to the Bihar government," she added.

Soon after the Rajya Sabha met here, NDA members were up on their feet decrying the alleged apathy in extending help to cash-strapped Bihar government, alleging discrimination by the Centre against the NDA-ruled states.
