Leader of House in South Delhi Corporation Subhash Arya on Wednesday said resident welfare associations of the city would join them.

He said sanctioning building plans under the existing rules was impossible and that the government was misleading people by issuing notification about the regularisation.

"The South Delhi Corporation will sanction the layout plans of these colonies if the government agrees to remove these clauses," said Arya. The date of the protest is yet to be decided.

He demanded that the government amend the rules and regularize the unauthorized colonies on 'as it is and where it is' basis and not by the layout plans up to 2007.

"Due to the new demarcation of colonies, a number of properties are out from the boundaries. Due to this, the RWAs are not ready to sign on the new layout plan which is mandatory for sanctioning of the building plans," he alleged.
