"BJP welcomes the Supreme Court directives. We fully endorse the instructions of the Apex Court," BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy said.

Rudy said the Supreme Court directives have in no way diluted the BJP's stand favouring a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the matter.

"The Supreme Court directives in fact vindicates the stand taken by the entire opposition," Rudy said.
