Just three days after a Blueline claimed its 100th victim this year, another rogue bus hit four people, including three schoolboys and a cyclist, on Tuesday.

The incident took place around 3.30 pm. The speeding bus, coming down the Modi Mills flyover in south Delhi, hit them from behind at a bus stop. The impact of the accident was such that one of the boys was tossed in the air and landed in the bushes nearby.
“I was waiting at the bus stop with my friends. The bus was speeding and was not carrying any passenger. My sister was also with me. As I turned around, I saw the bus charging
at us... we ran for our lives. But the bus had already hit my friends,” said Rahul Gupta, a Class IX student of Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya. The three injured boys are all Class IX students of the same school.
The bus driver fled from the spot soon after the accident. The police said they have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against him at the New Friends Colony Police Station.
This comes a few days after Blueline operators set up a call centre to help passengers.
