India on Monday agreed to share details of the Bodh Gaya serial blasts probe with Myanmar, besides agreeing to step up security cooperation between the two countries.

Foreign secretary Ranjan Mathai in a meeting with Myanmar foreign minister Wunna Maung Lwin in Naw Pyi Taw, also conveyed the wellbeing of the Myanmar pilgrim injured in the blasts.
“The foreign secretary assured the Myanmar foreign minister Bodhgaya remains a place of peace and pilgrimage. He informed that the injured pilgrim was not in danger and was being taken care of. The outcome of the investigations would be shared with Myanmar,” official sources said.
The minister condemned the incident and the net of terrorism. Mathai also called on Aung San Suu Kyi who expressed her shock at the incident.
